The Elite Seat itself is one of the most innovative and functional designs in the kayak market. The steel framed seat that is a comfortable all day. It will keep you up and out of the water. The water drains through it and it is not on the bottom of the boat. The elite seat is removable and can be used on shore as a camping chair. The elite seat sits about 4″ above the hull providing a better view from the cockpit. The higher seating position means it is easier to see around you and is a improved paddling experience. The adjustment area allows you to trim your Ibis based on how you have it loaded. Putting lots of gear in the front and position the seat back for a more comfort ride. If you have a heavy cooler behind you and you’ll move the seat forward. There is a simply bungee attachment to keep the seat in place.
